Well, it’s Saturday night, and I’m usually just now landing somewhere to go and speak. About three months ago a Pastor called and said, “I’m not able to have you on Pentecost Sunday because our church is not at a place financially where we can afford a guest speaker.” I respect that and thought to myself, “I need to hurry and schedule with someone else!”
Well, every time that I started to schedule that date, I felt in my gut that I needed to wait. It’s now Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 9:23 pm, and I’m still waiting. I’m ok with it because usually when I don’t feel to schedule with someone, God is directing me to put it in park and just rest. It’s tough for me to do that, but I’m learning the value of working WITH God and allowing my body the rest that it sometimes needs.
My travel schedule is demanding, and I’m starting to really feel the need to pace myself and only go a few times a month. Therefore, I’m starting a Coaching Business that will enable me to continue motivating, inspiring, and training people without completely burning myself out with the travel industry. It’s been going well so far, and I’m really enjoying it.
I didn’t travel today because I needed the break, and it feels so good to actually be in my own home on Saturday night and do something that I am learning to do, “RELAX!”
